GET INTO YOGA
start yoga | get fit | feel better
My yoga journey began six years ago - initially from online tutorials, before plucking up the courage to attend a yoga class - and I'm not sure where I'd be today without having stepped on my mat.
Most people come to yoga class wanting to be able to touch their toes - but it's so much more than that! Yoga literally means 'union', to join the mind and body together, and in the fast-paced world that we live in, where we are bombarded by technology and social media, I don't think it's ever been more relevant than it is today.

Yoga got me hooked because I was dealing with mental health issues - and it was the only place where I could escape my own brain - and it's still that place for me, as well as strength training, stretching and even an intense workout.

My classes are all about being playful with your movement. The class is structured to create foundational strength and open up space in the body. I encourage my students not to take their practice too seriously, to have fun, and to enjoy and love yoga practice! It can be so intimidating to start yoga - especially if you aren't sure what to expect with a beginner yoga class - but my classes are relaxed and fun and a no pressure environment where you can gain confidence.

Music is a huge part of my practice, so I make an effort to include dynamic and uplifting playlists to help create the perfect space to flow. As well as a great workout for the body, helping you to get fit and strong, we also have a delicious relaxation at the end of the class, where you get to completely relax and let go.

Whether you are just getting into yoga, or you are an advanced practitioner, you will find something to love in my class - whether you want to touch your toes, or to stand on your head!

I teach across the North West, in multiple studios, offering Vinyasa Flow Yoga, as well as Hot Yoga Flow. I also teach private classes - interested? Get in touch!
